This work is one of those which are not only poetic but also narrative. Somebody was present here and now they are gone and your can feel their absence very well. It would have suited the artwork if bird chattering could be heard. It would make the narration look more real. The hanging dress and sitting birds recall these lines by Sohrab Sepehri: ‘A clothes line was visible: an impatient bra.’ The birds emphasize this impatience. It is a bit confusing whether this work should be regarded as a sculpture, installation or even conceptual art. For instance, contrary to traditional sculpture there is less focus on form but the juxtaposition of different elements brings it closer to an installation.
