I choose this work. I love his art because although he is a learned man and is as smart as one needs to be, he doesn’t deceive himself. You know what I mean… He is one of those people who can persuade themselves and others that any rubbish is work of art, but he simply doesn’t do that. For me, his sincerity is important. He is one of those people who has found a corner for himself (by corner, I mean, at the same time, a theoretical as well as a physical one, and also the Herfeh:Honarmand magazine) and he is working. You can feel his work with your heart and feelings, you don’t need to have read books. You don’t need to hesitate in reacting to the artwork fearing you might appear stupid. You need not to refer to thousands of other things in order to comprehend something. His works smells of being established. And this work in particular. I had never fancied having a painting for myself before, but I really wanted to have this one.
