It is possible that in an artistic atmosphere many words and deeds turn irrational and such irrationality and the illogical was what we intended. Should all artworks be confirmatory?
One can destruct extravagance and snobbery by pushing it to its limits. Our work was situated on the ultimate edge of fantasy and luxury … We wanted to merely attract attention (bright and fancy colours.)
In a gallery where everybody had come to confirm–although we hold a complete respect for the gallery-owners and artists–we wanted to destruct a space which everybody wanted to affirm its theatricality. The actors saw a non-confirmatory performance which they had to tolerate and nobody understood if it was the continuation of the other performance or separate from it….
