This is the statement of ‘Living in Transition’ written by Behnam Kamrani. The text was mentioned here.

Even if drawing is considered visual form of thinking and the very basic effort towards creation, an escape from which is a challenge in using every medium, still this does not serve as an excuse for juxtaposing all sorts of artworks in a show like this one. Making drawing the one and only criterion, opens up a burning question: How does this add anything to the group exhibition or the overall atmosphere of works? Desperate intentions such as what the young generation experienced during the Iran/Iraq war does not turn this into an example of a ‘group exhibition’ (and of course it is hard to expect most of the participating artists to remember anything from the time when they were two or three years old.) After mentioning all these curatorial defects, one can also mention the inconvenient installation of the works in the gallery space and the irritating illumination making it nearly impossible to see some artworks due to the glass reflection.
